Solid Brass Aged Weld

The Arkivio Deepframe is bent into shape from linear profiles that are then welded to form the complete frame. Every brass frame will show one seam line or more at which it was welded. Unlike powder coated frames we cannot hide the raw materiality of the solid brass join. This is an example of 2 welds on aged brass.
- Technique: After matting the brass it's chemically washed then lightly brushed a second time to reveal the fresh brass beneath
- Colour: Darkened base with subtle brush strokes revealing a rich gold
- Feel: Smooth
- Sheen: None
- 2K Clear Coat: This application will add a low gloss sheen to the brass
